Sponges are soft, bubbly and all, but like any other plastic products, they are bad for you and for the environment.

Most kitchen sponges are made of petroleum-based ingredient, polyurethane, and other toxic chemicals, which leach micro plastics out into waterways whenever you do the dishes. Not very green, huh? That is why we made these dish srubbies, and they are everything you are looking for an eco-friendly alternative to plastic kitchen sponge and/or soap saver – the Jute sponge can also be your body scrubber.

These scrubbies are made of Abaca and Jute fibers, which are extracted from the stalk of the Abaca (A.K.A Manila Hemp) and Corchorus olitorius (A.K.A Saluyot), which means they are 1000% natural. They may not lather as nicely as a plastic sponge would, but they will clean your dishes just as well.
